Unique silk structure for creative textile art

Our Silk Cocoon Sheets are made from silk cocoons that can no longer be unwound. Instead of disposing of them, we transform them into a homogeneous yet vibrant surface that retains the characteristic diamond structure of the silk fibers.

These leaves are versatile:

• Felting: Easy to combine with a needle or with wool for wet felting.

• Spinning: The fibers can be spun and processed into exclusive projects.

• Textile art: Ideal for mixed media work, tissue paper production or as decorative elements in works of art.

Processing takes place on special machines that are actually used for the production of technical mesh fabrics. The individual layers can be easily pulled apart, which offers additional design options.

Our hand-dyed Silk Cocoon Sheets are available in selected Painters Glory colors and add a touch of luxury to any project.
